Porsche F4.3

The beast

The F4.3 in signal yellow combines the entire range of engine components from over 7 years of prototyping. We realized the vehicle specifically for the Mille Miglia Rally in Dubai in a record time of 6 months.

Our daily passion is to develop new components and set new standards in classic products. Not every Backdate is manufactured to the same standard.

Car body

Everything made of sheet metal! The body has reached a new level of precision through many iterations. A body that was still produced by hand was scanned in. Parts were reverse engineered into a solid model using Solid Works. Tools were designed from the data and manufactured with Solid Cam on the in-house machines. The 2nd side was mirrored in order to obtain a production with exactly the same sides. Almost every part is created on the computer and manufactured using the latest methods. Original F Model typical hinged windows and the sunroof are a real alternative to the line-optimized air conditioning even in warm temperatures.

Wheels

To make a statement and make the vehicle unmistakable at first glance, a new classic rim design Triebwerk wheels were developed and realized with the certified rim manufacturer Irmler Racing. With TÜV certificate, of course. Incidentally, these wheels also fit the WTL or the Turbo.

Drive

As the name suggests, the car is powered by a Triebwerk 4.3L engine whose components were developed by EGMO in Switzerland. The cylinder head machining in the 5-axis process is done in-house. A masterpiece of reliable, tried and tested technology. In combination with the DTW exhaust system and the DTW individual throttle valves with freely programmable engine control system and the DTW single spark ignition system, the engine delivers 398 HP and 405 NM. The transmission ratio of the overhauled gearbox has been adapted.

New designs in the interior

New full bucket seats with separate electric height adjustment in the front and rear seats were developed for this vehicle. Seat heating with separately adjustable temperature in the seat and backrest area has been fitted. The electrically unlockable console enables the seats to be folded forwards to allow access to the rear or to place a piece of luggage. An emergency release is also fitted in the event of a power failure.

The dashboard has been redesigned and the cover replaced with the one from the F model. The panel is adorned with the woven leather Alcantara composite at the transition to the knee protection strips. A classic radio has found its place alongside the visual redesign of the heating controls. The invisible sound system is completely new. It consists of bodysound elements, a concealed subwoofer and an Apple Carplay/Android Auto monitor that can be concealed under the dashboard and easily paired with a cell phone. With a hands-free system and the ability to navigate with Google Maps on a reasonably sized monitor, the car is in no way inferior to a modern vehicle. The steering wheel has been modified and designed for the vehicle.

USB interfaces with the option of charging and connecting a stick with stored MP3s have been fitted. The USB sticks manufactured in radio button design provide the same look.

Trunk

The trunk has also been redesigned. A woven warning triangle bag has its permanent place, as does the first aid kit in the same look. A battery cut-off switch, which is deactivated via the key remote control, protects against annoying battery discharge and offers additional theft protection in addition to the GPS transmitter. A trickle charger with direct plug connection ensures problem-free charging should the battery weaken or the vehicle be parked for a longer period of time.
